How It Works

Use unsanded grout for joints 1/8 inch or narrower and sanded grout for wider joints. Sanded grout is stronger and resists cracking in wider joints. Epoxy grout is waterproof and stain-proof but harder to work with and costs 3-4x more. Mix only what you can use in 30 minutes. Apply with a rubber float at a 45-degree angle to the joints. Wipe excess with a damp sponge before it hardens. Seal cement-based grout after 72 hours to prevent staining.
